Abstract: In view of the relevant regulatory requirements for container bag packaging and transportation, this paper analyzes the potential hazards of container bags in different transportation environments, focuses on interpreting the technical requirements for the mechanical properties of container bags, and elaborates on the differences in the main inspection indicators of different standards. , Carrying out a comprehensive assessment of its safety, which is convenient for manufacturers and inspection agencies to understand and use it correctly.

Keywords: FIBC; safety assessment: mechanical properties

In recent years, new container bags have appeared more and more in people's sight. What is its development prospects and what advantages it has compared to the old products have become people's concerns. Long service life, high safety factor in use, authoritative certification support, UN certificate and food hygiene license for products, specially used for long-distance shipping of dangerous goods, and gradually replacing ordinary bulk bags to become the darling of the world. At the same time, its popularity has promoted the development of my country's high-tech industries, and it has also played a role in promoting the development of manufacturing. FIBC generally adopts polypropylene weaving process through drawing to make polypropylene woven fabric rolls, and then cut into cylindrical or sheet-like substrates of various sizes after coating, and then the substrates are cut according to the design requirements Sewn into round or square bag-like products

If necessary, a flexible medium-sized bulk container composed of lining, inner coating, auxiliary equipment or loading and unloading device can be added. Its structure generally includes a feed port, a sling, a FIBC bag body, and a discharge port. It has small quality, high strength, With the advantage of large capacity, it is widely used in the transportation and packaging of grains, chemical mineral products and other powdery and granular items. With the improvement of the degree of mechanized storage and the improvement of storage conditions, FIBCs have been widely used all over the world. FIBCs are widely used in construction, medical, food, textile and other industries, and they are very popular. The loading capacity of bulk bags is generally more than 400kg, and safety accidents will cause heavy casualties or damage to the natural environment. Therefore, it is very important to inspect the mechanical properties of the FIBC. The safety performance directly affects the safety of loading, unloading and transportation personnel. FIBC can greatly reduce production, storage, transportation, and operation costs. The external dimensions conform to ISO design standards and are in line with international standards. It is especially suitable for sea container transportation. A 20-foot container can carry 20 1 cubic container bags, and a 40-foot container can carry 40 1 cubic container bags, which greatly reduces transportation costs. , It saves a lot of manpower and material resources, and forklifts can be used for loading and unloading, which reduces the trouble of manual handling. As a commonly used packaging container for goods, FIBC can contain general goods, non-dangerous goods, and dangerous goods. During its entire life cycle, including goods filling, storage, transportation, and goods unloading process There are potential dangers. Combined with the characteristics of the FIBC itself and the analysis of its use environment, the FIBC has potential hazards during the entire service cycle.

Different standards have different definitions of marks. Generally divided into 8 parts

Part One: Symbols prescribed by the United Nations for packaging and containers of dangerous goods, the United Nations symbol

The second part of the packaging code, packaging code:

13H1: No coating, no inner bag

13H2: Coated, no inner bag

13H2: Coated, no inner bag

13H3: Uncoated, with inner bag

13H3: Uncoated, with inner bag

13H4: Coated, with inner bag

13H4: Coated, with inner bag

In the third part, a letter represents the packaging category of the container, and represents the capital letter of the packaging category for which the design model has been approved.

Part 4 Month and year of manufacture of dangerous goods packaging containers, month and year of manufacture.

For example, the product produced in January 2020 is represented by 0120, especially if the product produced in January 2020 is represented by 0120, pay special attention to the month before the year before the year.

Part V. Code of the country of manufacture of dangerous goods packaging containers, and the country of approval issued by the code of China, which is used by vehicles in international road traffic.

Part VI: The name or symbol of the container manufacturer and the inspection machine manufacturer in the area where the manufacturer is located, as well as the codes of other structures specified by the competent authority.

The seventh part expresses the stacking test load of the container in kg. The identification symbol of the medium-sized bulk container is expressed in kg for the stacking test load of the container. For the bulk bag that cannot be stacked by design, the number should be written. For the medium-sized bulk container that cannot be stacked by the design, the number should be written.

The eighth part is the maximum allowable load expressed in kg. The maximum permissible total mass of the FIBC approved in kg.

The national quality and safety authorities and industry management departments have issued a series of technical standards, and formulated more than 20 national standards including GB19434-2009 "Safety Code for Inspection of Medium-sized Bulk Containers for Dangerous Goods", which involve the inspection of medium-sized bulk containers of different materials. Specifications and specific test methods for intermediate bulk containers, etc. At the same time, the regulatory authorities have also formulated relevant industry and national standards, including SNT0893-2000 "Regulations for the performance inspection of plastic woven container bags for export of dangerous goods by sea", SN/0987.6-2013 "Regulations for the inspection of intermediate bulk containers for export of dangerous goods Part 6: The industry standard of Flexible Medium Bulk Containers and the national standard of GB/T10454-200 "Film Bags". Regarding the supervision of FIBCs, the relevant regulatory authorities require the inspection to be qualified and issue a CMA-authorized type inspection report.

In view of the potential hazards of the FIBC during use and the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, it is recommended to evaluate the safety of the FIBC through the mechanical performance test to ensure the safety of the packaging and transportation of the FIBC. For bulk bags containing dangerous goods, the potential danger lies in their large loading capacity. If the strength of the bag body and the sling is low, the bag body will be damaged and the sling will break, causing serious accidents such as cargo leakage or injury to people. If it is loaded with dangerous goods, even a small amount of leakage can cause catastrophic accidents. In view of this situation, the testing method refers to the following standards, see Table 2 for details. The following testing items should be used to comprehensively evaluate the mechanical properties of the FIBC containing dangerous goods, see Table 3 for details. All the above performance tests are qualified, and the batch of FIBCs is judged to be qualified. If one performance test fails, the batch of FIBCs is determined to be unqualified.

For FIBCs containing dangerous goods, different standards are selected for the overall mechanical performance testing of FIBCs, and the technical requirements for test items are also different. The requirements for the test preparation of the "Specifications for the Performance Inspection of Plastic Woven Fabric Bags for Dangerous Goods Shipped by Sea": The FIBC should be filled to not less than 95% of its capacity and the maximum allowable load, and the load should be evenly distributed. If it is replaced by another intended package, the substitute substance should have the same physical characteristics as the intended package. Additives, such as lead pellet bags, can also be used to achieve the maximum allowable load, but the placement of the additives should ensure that they will not affect the test results. "Inspection Regulations for Dangerous Goods Intermediate Bulk Containers Part 6: Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers" and "Safety Code for the Inspection of Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers for Dangerous Goods" Performance Inspection Test Preparation Requirements: N0.1 Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers should be filled to the maximum allowable Load, load should be evenly distributed; NO.4 flexible medium-sized bulk container should be loaded to 6 times its maximum allowable load, and the load should be evenly distributed; NO.6 flexible medium-sized bulk container should be filled to the maximum allowable total weight. If the proportion of the product used for the test is too small to reach the maximum allowable total weight, an evenly distributed load should be added to make the tested flexible medium bulk container reach its maximum allowable total weight, NO. 2/3/5 flexible medium Bulk containers should be filled to not less than 95% of their capacity and the maximum allowable load, and the load should be evenly distributed.

The test preparation requirements of the 20th revised edition of the "United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods": NO.1 The soft medium bulk container must be packed to its maximum allowable total weight, and the contents are evenly distributed; NO.4 soft medium bulk container A representative substance must be loaded and loaded to 6 times its maximum allowable total weight, and the load should be evenly distributed: NO.6 soft medium bulk containers should be filled to the maximum allowable total weight. If the proportion of the product used for the test is too small to reach the maximum allowable total weight, an evenly distributed load should be added to make the tested soft medium-sized cargo box reach its maximum allowable total weight: N0.2/3/5 Software The medium bulk container must be loaded to 5 wells not less than its capacity and reach its maximum allowable total weight, and the contents are evenly distributed.

(2) Technical requirements for container bags for general cargo

For bulk bags containing general goods, the mechanical properties are mainly improved by loading several times the contents, and the contents must be determined first.

Container bags have also started to be used in the circulation of various domestic industries, and more and more manufacturers have adopted dangerous goods container bags as their main production products. FIBC is playing an increasingly important role in bulk transportation. At the same time, with the improvement of environmental protection awareness in the next few years, the use of FIBCs in the domestic and international markets will become more and more popular, and the market prospects will be better. This provides opportunities for development of FIBCs, and we must seize the opportunities. Continuously improve equipment level, improve product quality, adjust product structure, maximize strengths and avoid weaknesses, and meet customer needs in different product grades, and the container bag industry will get a healthy and lasting development.
