The flood season is approaching. In order to ensure the safety of the flood season, Jinyuan District insists on taking prevention first and making overall plans, increasing the reserves of flood prevention materials and consolidating the foundation of flood prevention work. Up to now, a total of 120,000 pp woven bags, 10,000 flood control sand bags, 30 water pumps, 225 life jackets, and 4 generators have been reserved, and 10 emergency rescue teams with a total of more than 1,400 people have been formed.

In the past few days, Jinyuan District has adhered to the principle of the executive head responsibility system and territorial management, focusing on mountain flood disaster prevention and river city flood control safety, and taking multiple measures to do well in summer flood control. The district has formulated flood control plans for 13 rivers such as the Jinyuan section of the Fenhe River, the Fengyusha River, and the southern drainage channel in accordance with the requirements of "one river and one plan". Arrange for the implementation of defense work in 4 low-lying areas and 4 geological hazard risk areas, so that there are dedicated personnel responsible and emergency plans. Prepare special emergency plans for Kaihua Shahe, Mingxian Shahe and other rivers, formulate flood prevention and drainage emergency plans for Taihua Six District, Hongqi Bungalow, Lanting Yuhu City and other districts, and implement various guarantees for departments, personnel, equipment and emergency rescue teams. At the same time, the district organized three mountain flood hazard avoidance emergency drills in the district government square, national defense education park, and Jinyang Lake Park, and distributed more than 3,000 promotional materials. Strengthen emergency duty, strictly implement the 24-hour duty and leadership-led system, pay close attention to changes in water and rain conditions, and ensure smooth government orders during the flood season and timely disposal.
